The Station by Mark Dallington

Thorny brambles dare the rail track,
pulling a ripe berry cargo.
Rural commuters breathe the early morning air,
taste the freshness of the day.
Salt tang from the marshes fills lungs,
is exhaled in mist-like trails,
that disappear swift as rabbits.
